For the sake of efficiency, we would like for you to utilize email more in communicating with our clinic. 

Email is convenient and efficient, much more so than phone calls because we spend a lot of time playing phone tag and leaving messages. 

A few pointers:

1. We will NOT sell your email to any third party unless you specifically request that we do. If you get spam in your inbox, rest assured that it did not come from us.

2. We will NOT send messages soliciting anything to you other than services we provide directly or any changes in clinic that we feel might impact you directly. For instance, a day you have an appointment wherein we have a clinic closure, or to remind you of an appointment, or a reminder that we are missing test reports.

3. Email can be hacked, so we prefer you not send very sensitive information about you or your health that might be a problem if email gets compromised in any way. We will not be liable for them. We figured appointment reminders and minor issues are okay, but ONLY if it is okay with you as well. 

4. By communicating with us through email, we assume you are aware of these issues and are okay with communicating by email anyway.

5. If you are NOT comfortable sending email communication, please do NOT provide us with an email address. You may ask the staff anytime to have your email address removed from your chart. 

6. If we do not have your email address in your chart, it may be difficult to verify your identity if you decide to one day email us. So please provide your email address while physically in the office so we are clear that it is you we are communicating with.
